Thank you for this information. It certainly makes sense that if or when we feel like we are just stuck in a rut and we don't know where our lives are going, that the Master of lies and deception is responsible. God has a plan for all of us and it's beyond even what we can imagine for ourselves. Satan is going to do whatever it takes to try to keep us from that blessing. He really is unable to do that because God's plans will come to be. But he can come to us trying to make us believe and feel that we will always be right where we are. God says that "The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy". He also says that "We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities of darkness and evil". Each of the 5 things you listed are so important. I do have a question about the last one - Laziness. How do you view it in light of a person who has severe depression to the point where they are incapable of being actually very active. I've seen cases where a person was had major depressive disorder to the point that at times, they truthfully couldn't even get out of bed when the cycle was so severe. They couldn't take a shower, they didn't care about changing clothes... And they were a strong, faithful, believer in Christ. As a matter of fact, Jesus was what gave them hope minute to minute to get through the day. God could have healed them... Yes, but for only God's knowledge... This was their cross to bear. I'm so sorry I have written you a short novel. And I understand this was probably just meant to be an article that touched the surface, giving us a spiritual perspective and starting place. But when I read it, my heart was absolutely drawn to that one place and I couldn't leave the page without sharing this and asking for your thoughts. Thank you for your time. God bless you.
