Sis, you probably have talked to him about this many times, but I would say don’t bring it up to him again and tell God all about it and trust and believe that God hears you and sees the situation. Believe me this situation is not just about him God is doing something in you too. Your husband is speaking the truth even if you don’t see his actions line up, God is dealing with him and you can’t see it right now. God is talking to your husband through people, articles, messages, etc. I pray that you get a peace and not be distracted by what you see so that you both become so in sync. God will tell you what to pray about specifically once this happens. Your husband may be dealing with a lack of confidence, but he has a praying wife. Remember that they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength! You got this sis. Just act like it’s already done. Blessings

Are you working and contributing as well? If not, I would refrain from judging. If you are working full time as either as a stay at home mother or in the work force yourself that is a different story. But it's never right to put 100% responsibility onto anyone to support you financially. Also what country are you from? There are not many places you can just start grilling food and selling it on a whim. Not legally at least. You need business licenses & approval from a health authority.
I can guarantee calling your husband a "loser" isnt helping anyone. Do you use positive reinforcement with him? Do you say thank you for what he does do? If not that could be an issue as to why someone doesnt want to work harder. If he doesn't feel recognized for his efforts I can see how he may not feel like amping things up and working full time.
How is his emotional health? A healthy couple should be supportive of eachother. Within reason of course. But still you must be there for eachother through thick and thin. Through sickness and health, through poverty and wealth. Please find a healthy way to Express your concern to him. Calling anyone a loser is far from loving behavior.

We are struggling financially and yet all he does is work a part time job. We have a grill and yet he won’t take it out and cook to sell food and get money that way. I cry constantly and all he says is don’t worry GOD is going to work it out and we are going to be okay. But still nothing gets better and I am at a point where I don’t even hear GOD anymore or maybe I am hearing his voice and I am just not listening.
