I must admit, I was a bit skeptical of the idea of replacing Stacy Dash’s character, Val. To my surprise, VH1 did a very good job of making us forget that Val ever existed. Partly because new single lady, Denise Vasi isn’t exactly a replacement for Val. She plays Raquel Lancaster, a friend of Keisha’s, and like the other single ladies, she has her own set of issues!
