Relationships can be rough especially if we try to take matters into our own hands when God has already spoken.
When a relationship ends it can feel like the end of the world for most of us. Whether it’s a friendship, courtship, or business relationship, it hurts!
When you’re going through a horrible breakup, it doesn’t matter how many people tell you that every thing is going to be okay. It still hurts.
You just want the pain to stop. You don’t always want to hear the breakup cliche’s and bad relationship advice.
Truth is, you want to believe what your loved ones are saying, but it’s hard. How can they know what the future holds? … And how can they know that God has someone better for me? How do they know anything?
Whenever I’m going through it, I always like to refer back to the one source I know will never fail me. The Bible.
I find scriptures that relate to my current situation, write them in the notes app on my phone, and whenever I’m feeling down, weak or agitated about my situation, I pull them up and read them out loud.
There’s something about reading the Word that has a calming effect for just about any situation I may face.
Here are 25 Bible scriptures that helped me tremendously after my most horrible breakup:
