Prayer Request:
Please pray for my son. I taught him how to treat a woman. He is a perfect gentleman. However, he doesn’t know where to draw the line. He’s married to a terrible woman. I’m a Christian woman. I’ve been married to my husband for 26 years and I’ve always believed that divorce was never an option until my son married her. She has admitted to cheating on him. They split up, but after being separated for only 3 months, my son decided he still wanted to make his marriage work. When she returned home little did he know that she was pregnant by the other man’s baby. She says she didn’t know neither. My son forgave her again and still tried to make the marriage work and even claims that child as his own. She doesn’t work, but my son still has to come home and cook and clean and take care of the kids after working all day. She disrespects him in front of others and the list goes on and on. I would NEVER treat my husband the way she treats my son. I’m praying that my son wakes up soon. I’m praying that he realizes that she also has to want to make their marriage work. Not just him. I asked my son if I can sit down and have a heart to heart with her because she keeps my grandkids away from me and tries to keep me from talking to them when I call. He said no. Please help me pray for my son. I tell myself not to care so much but it’s kind of hard when you see someone you love constantly getting hurt.
What are your thoughts? Any advice or experience you want to share?
