As a child, we all dream about what we would like to be as an adult. By the time we reach adulthood, that dream has probably changed quite a few times. What changes? Fear and Doubt! When we are children, we believe that nothing is impossible because that’s what we’re taught. As we grow older, we began to doubt our abilities and fear failure. We then began to set goals that seem more achievable. Some of us are stuck at a job that we dread to go to everyday because we are afraid to go after our passion.
Figuring out your passion is easy. Your passion is simply something which you are passionate about. Something you love to do. But how do you figure out your purpose? Prayer! Pray that God reveals to you, what it is He wants you to do. Let Him know that it’s okay to use you. Be open and trust Him! I don’t make any decisions without consulting with the Lord, I always let him know that I completely trust His will. Therefore, I will completely accept His decision for my life. When we make decisions based off what we want, that inhibits us from fulfilling God’s purpose.
