Grammy-winning gospel legend Andraé Crouch is facing some “serious health challenges.”
The 71-year-old’s twin sister Sandra Crouch has reached out to family, friends and fans of the iconic singer/songwriter soliciting prayers for her brother.
Andraé, who is the Senior Pastor at Christ Memorial Church of God in Christ in Pacoima, Calif., was hospitalized recently and was just released last week.
A Note From Crouch Family:
Hello Friends,
“Our dear Father in the gospel, Pastor Andraé Crouch, is facing some serious health challenges and was just released from the hospital last week. His music has encouraged us, helped many make a decision to give their lives to the Lord, opened doors that allowed countless artists to have careers in the gospel music industry and brought a spirit of praise and worship into millions of churches across the world regardless of denomination or race. He was there for us and now we need to be there for him with our prayers.”

Sandra is requesting people submit “words of encouragement” and “testimonials” that they plan to share with Andraé in an effort to “speak life to his spirit.”
“Although we will never be able to tell him all he has meant to the body of Christ we can try,” she explained.
Over the next 48 hours starting on Wednesday June 11, they will be accepting those correspondences via [email protected].
