Your Faith Has Made You Well
There are moments in life when we feel invisible. We carry wounds (some seen, many hidden) and wonder if healing will ever come. The story of the woman with the issue of blood has always touched me deeply because, like her, I’ve experienced seasons where I quietly suffered and desperately needed Jesus to notice me.
In Mark 5:25–34, we read about a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years. Doctors couldn’t help her. She spent all her money searching for healing, yet her condition only worsened. But then, Jesus.
She didn’t ask for attention. She didn’t interrupt. She simply reached out in faith, believing that if she could just touch the hem of His garment, she would be made well. And she was.
“Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed of your affliction.” (Mark 5:34 NKJV)
This story reminds me of the time I sat in my car, overwhelmed by anxiety, unsure if I could face the day. I whispered, “Lord, I need you to see me.” That small, fragile prayer was my reach through the crowd and He answered with peace that I still can’t fully explain.
Whether you’re battling illness, heartbreak, or silent struggles, know that Jesus sees you. Your faith is not too small. Your reach is not too weak. The same Jesus who healed her is still healing today.
Today’s Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for seeing us when we feel unseen. Thank You for the hope found in Your Son, Jesus Christ. Strengthen our faith to reach for You even when life is heavy. Just like the woman in the crowd, help us believe that even the smallest touch of Your presence can change everything.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
