Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. ~Mark 11:24
Have you ever felt forgotten by God? I know I’ve felt that way. Does God seem to be blessing everyone except you? Do you find yourself asking “God, why me?” If your answer is “yes,” then rejoice, because you are closer to your breakthrough! Don’t give up now. God always comes through just in the nick of time!
Any mother knows the most difficult time of any birth is the few moments right before you deliver your baby into the world. You’re tired and exhausted beyond what you can endure. The last thing you want to hear again is PUSH! You can’t take it anymore! You have pushed and pushed and have exhausted all your strength! You don’t have another push in you! You want to scream, and you do: “I can’t do this . . . I can’t!” BUT you must! You know you can’t keep that child inside of you! It is at this moment that you must push the hardest and exert yourself the most. You are crying, “I can’t,” and everyone around you is yelling, “PUSH!” Easy for them to say, they are not the one lying there going through all that pain! Yet, you know they are right, you have to PUSH!
Then, somewhere deep inside you, the strength arises! You now have determination where hopelessness used to dwell. Now you cry from the depths of your heart, “I can,” and “I will!” You push! You’re at that same place now – on the verge of a breakthrough. Perhaps you are tired of believing, tired of hearing another prophecy, but you can’t give up now. That’s what the enemy wants you to do. Only you can break through to your miracle! Only you can give birth to your dream! Only you can fight through to your dream’s fulfillment, no one else. God will give you His strength when you have none of your own. When you fall short, He will pick you up because, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak” (Isaiah 40:29).
God has not forgotten about you! He hears your prayers. But, if you’re praying but believing God can’t, maybe that’s the reason God hasn’t. You’ve got to Want it, Pray about it, and BELIEVE it in order to Receive it! Stop looking at how big your mountains are. Pray with your eyes on God, not on your difficulties!
Granted, God knows what’s best for us and Not everything that’s good to us, is good for us. That’s why trusting God is so important. You have to trust Him enough to say “If it doesn’t work out exactly how I want, with who I want, or when I want, I know God will never steer me wrong”
God will answer your prayers in due time. Just keep your faith and praise Him in the meantime!
Lord, Increase my Faith while I wait for You to answer my prayers. Help me to believe that there is nothing You can not do. Not only will I patiently wait for Your answer, but I will give You praise right now for what You are about to do! In Jesus Name, Amen!
