Hello,
I have been attending my church for over 8 years now. Everything was fine up until a few months ago.
I really don’t even know if this is possible, but I think I have outgrown my church. I usher, I’m in the choir, I run Children’s church etc. I do what I can wherever I’m needed.
However, the people are so messy. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even talk to anyone anymore. Everyone is so nosy. They gossip and all talk about each other behind their backs. But that’s the least of my worries.
My pastor is a very handsome man and all the women want him even though he’s married. These women have no class.
But what’s sad is I feel like at times our pastor has said some things that were inappropriate also. I’ve caught him looking at women’s bottoms or giving off looks that were not appropriate for a pastor.
I used to gladly go to church every time the doors were open. Now I have to make myself go every Sunday.
This Sunday I was confronted by our pastor. He asked me why haven’t I been so active in the church as I once was before. I wanted to tell him why, but I couldn’t. Should I have a conversation with him about my concerns or should I just leave it alone?
Do I look for another church home or do I just overlook everything that’s going on around me?
