The generous YouTubers from GiveBackFilms are back this week with a new act of kindness. This time, Josh, Kyle, and Andrew interviewed homeless people in Atlanta, Ga., to “get a better understanding of their life.” The young men found an assortment of people, all with poignant backstories. Prayer Request: Please pray for my family. As long as I can remember, My mom has been a drug addict. I was taken away from her when I was 10 years old and raised by my grandmother. She has been in rehab programs all my life, but she never completes the program. No matter how low she has sunk, I have always been right there for her. I defended her when everyone else put her down. But now it’s getting harder to do. I now have a family of my own. My husband has told me that she is no…

I would like some insight on a situation I’m going through. I’m a newlywed. I have no kids, but my husband has two kids from a previous marriage. I always said that I didn’t want a man with kids because I didn’t want to deal with the baby mama drama. But it’s totally the opposite with my husband and his ex-wife. There’s absolutely no drama between the two. In fact she’s so nice and BEAUTIFUL! My husband’s family still loves her and invites her to everything. She’s even best friends with my husband’s sister. I’m not the jealous type, but…

There are many benefits to finding ways to reverse type 2 diabetes. A big one is its expense. According to the American Diabetes Association, the combined cost of medical care and lost productivity due to diabetes in the United States exceeded $174 billion in 2007. People with diabetes pay 2.3 times as much for health care as non-diabetics, and $1 in every $10 spent for health care is attributable to diabetes. Sadly, even though type 2 diabetes was once considered an adult disease, so many children now receive this diagnosis that it is no longer referred to as adult onset.…

Prayer Request: “I am in a mess….I am one year divorced from a man that was/still is emotionally abusive. I did not realize how bad it was until I moved away from him and our three children four months ago. I have suffered through him not working, me taking care of our children along with a full time job and a part-time seasonal business that we owned, to an abortion of my third pregnancy; to making friends with another man that I told my then husband that I was having an affair. In a way it was an affair, not…

Furthermore, there is a man in our lives that is very dangerous and imbalanced that is offering us a place to stay. I fear our safety and our emotional/spiritual/psychological well being. We need prayers that this dangerous man will not harm us,…

Then it hit him — a parent hadn’t written the note. It wasn’t a complaint or suggestion from a colleague. It was an apology letter from a former student, along with $300 that the student had…
