When you’re tested but still trusting, the enemy does not stand a chance. Keep trusting God and soon these tests will become your testimonies.
Have you ever been sick and tired of being sick and tired? It seems like as soon as you take one step forward, BOOM! Another blow. Another setback.
You’re at a point where you don’t want to get excited when something good happens because you know it’s only a matter of time before something else steals your joy.
I’ve been there a time or two so I get it. But here’s the solution… Stop letting the enemy steal your joy!
He rejoices when we weep. Every time we doubt God’s faithfulness and goodness, he counts that as a win for him. I don’t know about you, but I refuse to let the enemy win!
Some of you are going through things which you’ve been going through for a while now and you’ve been going through it for a while only because you’ve allowed the enemy to steal your joy, to doubt God’s presence in your life, or maybe even His existence period.
The Bible tells us to “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.” (James 1:2-3)
When you’re faced with trials, trust God through the process. Run to Him, not away from Him. Don’t stop praying just because you feel like it’s pointless. Keep praying, keep worshipping, and keep walking by faith regardless of what’s going on in your life.
There will be times when you don’t feel like praising. You may feel like you have nothing to praise about. I’ve learned that these are the times when we should be praising the most because these are the times that the devil is the busiest in our lives. When he’s managed to diminish our faith.
You may be questioning why all of your unsaved loved ones are blessed and happy while you ( a Godly woman) suffer and “fail miserably”.
Or… You may be feeling like your unsaved loved ones are taking your faith and Christianity as a joke as they watch you go through various trials.
Or… You may be wondering “what have I done so wrong, to deserve the things I am going through?”
The truth is… being a Christian doesn’t exempt us from troubles. In fact, at some point in every Christian’s life, they will be tested to some degree.
I remember when I started The Praying Woman blog, life was worry free and then life hit me like a ton of bricks. Almost everything that could go wrong did. I felt like a modern day Job. (Job 1:1-22)
I was even debating whether or not I should shut down the blog and a few times I was one click away from saying goodbye to all my readers. Things had gotten so bad financially, I was unable to manage it at times.
But God is faithful! He continues to provide a way every time. We just have to make sure we are trusting Him through the process and not making decisions that are based on our emotions.
Trusting God is easy when life is easy. The real challenge is never letting go of your faith when things are hard.
This faith walk calls for us to trust God even when you are being tested by the enemy. Even when nothing makes sense and even when it seems crazy considering everything you’re going through.
Keep trusting God and soon these tests will become your testimonies.
